Understand what information is shared.
Files, connected metadata, credentials and website activity have different data boundaries.
Files stay on your device or chosen storage.
Files put into Packtell are managed locally on your computer; connected external files stay in your chosen storage. Cloud does not host ordinary file contents. Third-party storage has its own policies. Connections are limited by your authorization.
Metadata can contain personal information.
Connected spaces can share Package and Space names, logical file names, notes or Memory text, versions, events, reported availability, device information and necessary relationships with Cloud. Local-only spaces are not automatically adopted by signing in.
Provider tokens stay on devices.
Owner and member credentials do not enter Cloud. An authorized device performs storage access changes; membership removal cannot erase copies already downloaded.
This website collects no file content.
No application analytics collector or search submission is installed on this website. Hosting services can process ordinary request data. Avoid sending sensitive file or member details in support email.
Language and theme preferences on this browser.
This website saves language in a host-only packtell-language cookie for up to one year and synchronizes the legacy localStorage preference. Theme stays in packtell-theme localStorage. Clear this site’s browser data to remove preferences; they are not sent to an analytics service.
Service policies are published separately.
This page explains product data boundaries. It does not announce a new policy effective date or change retention or deletion rules. Cloud owns its account and online-service privacy policy.
